Does Anyone Want to Go to Tampa?

Maryland is the highest-ranked ACC team. The Terps are alone in first place in the Atlantic Division. But here is one ranking that has Maryland sixth in the conference. Not sure I agree with that one, especially since the team Maryland just beat is ranked in this article ahead of Maryland.

Here is a look around the league and a question: Does anyone want to go to Tampa?

Florida State Coach Bobby Bowden says that if it is up to him, he will welcome the five suspended wide receivers back for Saturday's Maryland game. All are awaiting the police report.

Here is a look at Florida State after the loss to Boston College. This story says the Atlantic Division race is "further jumbled." I beg to differ. The path is pretty clear for Maryland and there are several ways the first-place Terrapins can clinch the division at this point. In fact, I have already booked a hotel for Tampa.

It's clear for BC too. If either team wins out they're in. It's just jumbled for the stragglers scoreboard watching...

I ran a few fairly impolite variations on that statement through my head before deciding not to post them.

For the best, really.

I want to go to Tampa and watch the TERPS whip up on the Canes. I feel sorry for HEELS fan Gary who predicted a 4-8 finish and said Go Heels in his blog. Could it be that people with the first name GARY are associated with losing? My successful son feels that the Terps have a 48.7 percent chance of APPEARING in Tampa. For once I believe he is WRONG and the Terps have a 100% chance.
