Good Morning, Boston
Good morning, everyone. Trust me, I am fast asleep as you read this after a very exhausting season, a very exhausting week and a very exhausting night. But I bring you this scene setter through the magic of the Internet.
The bowl landscape in the ACC should become much clearer by 8 p.m. tonight. i will lay it out as best I can in my game story, but I'll have more information here in the blog, because, as you know, it can get technical.
As I wrote in my newspaper coverage today, things to watch for today:
Can Maryland move the ball against a great defense? The front seven are studs and the defense leads the nation in interceptions.
What are the injuries? Ralph Friedgen says the team is "beat up." We will wait and see who plays and how effective they are.
Focus. Do the Terrapins feel like playing this game? They have everything to play for in a rivalry game against Virginia and flopped. They had everything to play for last week and flopped.
Dominique Davis. Was that last drive against Wake Forest a fluke, or did Davis really settle down? We'll see what kind of team BC is without Chris Crane.
I'll leave for the game in a few hours ... once I, um, actually wake up.
