Jordan Williams Signs With Terps
Maryland just announced via a press release that Jordan Williams, a 6-foot-10, 245-pound center from Torrington (Conn.) High School has signed a letter of intent to play for the Terps.
"At 6-10, Jordan is one of those rare players who can run the court very well, while being a traditional inside player," Coach Gary Williams said in the press release. "Jordan has great hands in rebounding and catching the basketball. He showed tremendous improvement over the past summer."
Jordan Williams, who helped lead Torrington to a state title as a freshman and averaged 28 points and 16 rebounds per game last season as a junior, chose Maryland over St. John's, Providence, Georgetown, Indiana, Marquette and Notre Dame, according to the press release.
The current signing period for letters of intent will continue through Nov. 19.

I am glad Jordan Williams did not even consider UNC.
