More on Costa

It remains to be seen how Rick Costa's suspension affects Maryland on the defensive side Saturday against North Carolina. He was second on the team in tackles for loss and sacks, and he split time with Trey Covington at the LEO slot.

His most recent transgression is not his first interaction with law enforcement. His arrest this weekend came three years after Temple coaches took away his scholarship because he head-butted a police officer. For a little more perspective on Costa, check out Marc Carig's very fine piece on Costa from late 2006.
