The Official Prediction Thread
I went through our archives, which can be accessed by clicking on football to the left, to check my game-by-game predictions throughout the season. Can you believe this? I have a 4-7 record predicting Maryland games. That’s a disgrace. This team has been fun to cover but impossible to predict. The only ones I got right were Delaware, Eastern Michigan, Wake Forest and North Carolina State.
Davis plays good enough at quarterback. BC is focused and determined. A Maryland team that could not find the effort when everything was on the line is not going to find it when a lot less is on the line. And BC's defense clamps down on Maryland's running attack. If Darrius Heyward-Bey can't play, that makes it even more difficult for Maryland's offense. I say Boston College wins 14-13, for what it is worth. Which is absolutely nothing. After all, I am 4-7, not even bowl eligible. And I once put Jahvid Best in the Heisman discussion.
Off to BWI to catch a plane …
Let’s roll out a final round of regular season predictions, everyone.

You see, if the Terps were mediocre rather than erratic, your prediction percentage would be higher...

I say UMD has one surprise left in them and wins 16-10.
