Two Bowl Scenarios
I will map out two bowl scenarios then step aside for the G-town-Maryland hoops hype to take over.
If Virginia Tech wins the league title:
Orange: Virginia Tech
Peach: Florida State
Gator: Georgia Tech (They told me they'd love to get the Jackets if possible)
Champs: Clemson (Orlando official quotes today saying they are very high on Clemson)
Nashville: Boston College (title game runner-up can't drop further)
Charlotte: North Carolina (bowl official quotes saying proximity counts more this year)
San Francisco: Miami
Boise: Maryland
DC: Wake Forest/NC State
If Boston College wins league title:
Orange: Boston College
Peach: Florida State/Virginia Tech
Gator: Florida State/Virginia Tech
Champs: Clemson/Georgia Tech
Nashville: Clemson/Georgia Tech
Charlotte: North Carolina
San Francisco: Miami
Boise: Maryland
DC: Wake Forest/NC State
If there a chance Charlotte takes Maryland over North Carolina, sure? But it does not sound like the likely possibility at this point.

Why are the Terps more likely to go to Boise than DC?

MD officials have said on multiple occasions that the DC game (Eagle Bank Bowl) conflicts with scheduled final exams at the University. Therefore, they would not accept an invite.

Why the heck would the Terps go to Boise? They're better off declining that kind of invitation. It would be a waste of time. I think Charlotte is actually very likely. There would be a ton of people from around here that could travel to that game and it's very likely to have our biggest football rival, West Virginia.

The Boise game is nothing more than a home game for the Broncos, who'll be ticked over not getting a BCS berth.
