Wanna Bet? Vegas's Take on the Terps

Over at the esteemed DC SportsBog, our colleague Dan Steinberg, on the eve of the unveiling of the preseason Atlantic 11 poll, takes a look at what Las Vegas oddsmakers are saying about our local college basketball programs.

You could view some of the odds posted in any number of ways. Is it a little jarring to see Va. Commonwealth with better odds of winning a national title than Maryland? I guess. But I'd rather place a $2 bet on the Terps to win the national title at 200-1 than on them to win the ACC at 15-1, which seems low to me considering the No. 1 team in the country plays in the same league.
