Weather Update
Between 3 and 6 p.m., the College Park forecast calls for a 60 percent chance of showers, with some thunder and wind around 15 mph. That does not favor the fans. It may favor the Terrapins some. About four hours until I leave for the game.
Here are the kickoff times for two other important ACC games today:
Wake Forest and NC State kick off at 3:30. While Maryland controls its own destiny, it would be wise to root for State.
And Florida State, minus five receivers, kicks off against Boston College at 8 p.m. Take your pick.
