What Type of Bowl Opponent Do You Want?
What type of opponent would be best for this Maryland team? The crux of this Maryland team, 30 seniors and likely any wide receiver who may be taken in the first round of the NFL draft, won’t be here next season. Would you want to see Maryland best prepare for next season. Or do you want an entertaining game?
Would you want to see Maryland play an opponent it can clobber, a Louisiana Tech? Would you want a rivalry game, say a West Virginia in Charlotte? Would you want a tradition-rich program like a Nebraska? Does it even matter at this point? I’m always curious what the fan interest is in these middle-of-the-pack bowl games.
Chris Turner said the team would much rather play in a warm weather climate than a cold weather climate, and that’s part of their motivation against Boston College: Win in the cold so they won’t have to play in the cold in late December. We’ll see.

I'm so done with WVU. They think they're so good that they no longer want to schedule us. They'd rather play Colorado and East Carolina. Hey 'Neers, how'd that work out for ya?
I think a matchup with Nebraska would be good. From what I saw of their game with Tech, they seem like they're in the same boat as we are: talented yet inconsistent. Plus they bring lots of fans.
So let's knock BC out of the BCS and then HUCK THE FUSKERS.

I for one would enjoy a game vs West Virginia. Rivalry games are fun.

NO MORE WEST VIRGINIA! We have played them in like 3 bowls in the past 7 years. I would prefer to play a national recognized program like Nebraska.
