Scott's Day

Maybe Da'Rel Scott should get suspended more often.

He just accounted for all 66 yards on Maryland's five-yard scoring drive that put the Terrapins up two touchdowns. He probably locked up game MVP honors.

What does everyone think of Scott's play?

um, superb? excellent? inspired?

The ball just wafted past Moten's hands in what should've been an easy interception.

It's called karma, idiot.

Second pick for the DeMatha safeties. Where would our defensive backfield be without that pipeline in the Friedgen era?

Curfew violation? I thought maybe they were still studying for their finals.

great play by Da'Rel. Why would anyone name their kid Da'Rel?

I would give Scott a game ball for moving the ball and getting the game winning TD. Great job, D'rell!

Nice game -- BTW, any update on the men's game against Elon? I think this would be the first time the football team and both basketball teams have all won on the same day. At least I can't think of any other time it has happened before.

40-31 with 15m left in the second half, VPaterno. With any Maryland team, the game ain't over til the buzzer. It says something that every time we win my predominant emotion is "relief."

Unfortunately, Maryland shooters have gone cold this half. CBS CollegeSports Gametracker reports a 40-33 Maryland lead with around 15 minutes to go.

Wow! Maryland has exploded for 9 straight points all on threes. It's now Maryland 49 and Elon 33 with 14 minutes to go!

Bang.

It's a final in College Park. Maryland 76 - Elon 50.

Vasquez had 17 points, 3 boards, and 8 assists. Dave (YMCA) Neal mustered 9 points, 10 boards, and 1 assist.

Better effort on the boards. We had 45 rebounds to their 35!
