Vasquez Earns Top ACC Weekly Honor Again
For the second time in three weeks, Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez was named ACC player of the week.
In two games last week Vasquez averaged 20.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.5 steals and shot 51.9 percent from the field. He posted consecutive double-doubles in wins over Michigan and George Washington.
On the season, Vasquez is averaging 17.8 points and 4.9 assists per game, both of which place him in the top 10 in the ACC in each respective category.
