Dewhurst Update
For any of you who saw the nasty spill Charlotte guard Charles Dewhurst took during the second half yesterday and were curious as to the end result, the sophomore dislocated his right knee and likely will miss the remainder of the season.
With 14:49 remaining in the game, Dewhurst drove to the basket and tied the game at 49-49, but his his knee gave out as he landed. According to a team report, Dewhurst will undergo an MRI exam in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury. He was making his second start in place of sophomore An'Juan Wilderness, who has been out with a stress fracture in his left foot.
Dewhurst tallied six points and four rebounds in 18 minutes against the Terps.
