Campbell, McCollough Probable
The best news for Maryland is that left tackle Bruce Campbell (turf toe) and safety Jamari McCollough (high ankle sprain) will probably play Saturday. How much will they play? Who knows.
With Campbell taking his spot at left tackle, Paul Pinegar will move back to right tackle. Expect R.J. Dill to see some action at right tackle, as well.
Another injury update from last night: Defensive tackle Joe Vellano (stress fracture) is not expected to return until the Oct. 24 game at Duke. Coach Ralph Friedgen had originally expected Vellano back for the Oct. 3 game against Clemson.

This turf toe is going to linger all season. It's just what it does, which is a shame considering he's probably our best lineman.
