This team has given up

The Terps proved once again it could move the ball. Torrie Smith was a hero out there. Despite the early turnovers, I still thought our guys had a chance to win this game after half-time.

Predictably, six turnovers took their toll on our defense. (Poor Da'Rel Scott!) They didn't necessarily give up. They most likely wore down!

Yes, this will be a long season for the Terps. They may not win more than two or three games. However, it won't be for a lack of trying. I'm convinced better days lie ahead for this young and talented squad.
