Report: QB Will Transfer From Miami (Ohio) to Maryland
One week after leaving Miami University in Ohio, Clay Belton, a 6-foot-5, 223-pound left-handed quarterback, is headed to Maryland, according to this story.
Belton will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility remaining. Jamarr Robinson has made improvements this spring, so much so that offensive coordinator James Franklin feels the team could win with Robinson. And true freshman C.J. Brown and Danny O’Brien have showed glimpses of potential as well.
Thoughts about Belton’s decision?

Was rated 24th in pro style QBs (national) and 24th (all positions) in the state of Ohio. This guy has some talent - surprising that a big recruit didn't work at all for Miami (OH). Good luck to him in the open competition for 2010 QB.

As long as he's not related to Statham or Steffy...I'm fine.
