Report: Rutgers QB Savage 50-50 for Maryland Game
Rutgers beat writer Keith Sargeant reports that Rutgers Coach Greg Schiano said after Thursday’s practice that true freshman quarterback Tom Savage has a 50 percent chance to play Saturday against Maryland.
That’s probably all we’re going to know until early Saturday afternoon. Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen has prepared for three quarterback and he believes Savage will play.
Savage suffered a head injury when he was sacked in the fourth quarter of Rutgers’ victory over Florida International last week.
