End 3rd Quarter -- Maryland 24, Clemson 21

Momentum shifted back and forth in the third quarter. Maryland came out strong, but then gave up a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Terps also lost Bruce Campbell and Da'Rel Scott to injuries.

Scoring-wise, Davin Meggett took a pitch to the right after two failed attempts to the left and plunged in for a one-yard score.

Then C.J. Spiller answered for Clemson with a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. Clemson failed on its first two-point conversion attempt, but got a second chance after Maryland was called for pass interference. The Tigers connected on the second attempt.

Scott will not return. He has an arm injury. Campbell's status remains unknown.
