Virginia running back Mikell Simpson, who scalded the Terrapins the last time the two teams met at Byrd Stadium, is doubtful for Saturday's game after suffering a neck injury last Saturday against Indiana.

One that got away? Virginia sophomore linebacker Cam Johnson, who grew up in Greenbelt and played both football and basketball at Gonzaga, is progressing much faster than expected for the Cavaliers.
