Friedgen: Our defense won't back off
Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen knows Duke is capable of throwing the ball 40 or 50 times. He is also expecting a lot of screen passes.
"They're going to get it out quick, probably run a lot of screens at us," Friedgen said. "In fact, they've only got 12 sacks and I don't know how many passes they've thrown. I think they threw 40-something against [Virginia] Tech. 50 against N.C. State. So it's either going to be real good or real bad, I think. One way or the other, because I don't think [defensive coordinator Don Brown] going to back off."
So Maryland will keep blitzing. Smart?

Why is it that Morgan Green was battling Da'Rel Scott for the starting job last year but can't see the field this year? I don't understand. Does he suck?

yikes...brown got cooked by his blitzes with wake forest. it might happen again if he doesn't adjust.
his blitzes might work on that VA QB who flunked out of school last year...but not against this Duke QB. This dude eat up blitzes.
I have a bad feeling about this game unlesss Brown actually adjusts.
Whatever...we suck.
