Quick Injury Update

Maryland Coach Gary Williams said senior guard Eric Hayes and sophomore forward Steve Goins will try to practice on Saturday. Hayes has been dealing with a turf toe injury for the past two months, while Goins is recovering from offseason knee surgery.

Both Hayes and Goins said they expect to practice on Saturday during the team's first official workout of the season.

I'll have more from Hayes and Goins on their respective injuries in later posts.

Said it before and I'll say it again, Hayes is fine. He's been playing and working out and the turf toe is a non issue.

Wow, a player looking good in a cut-down scrimmage against friends. Yeah I'm sure all the players were playing at 110% percent hard.......
