Turner has no issues with quarterback situation

Maryland quarterback Chris Turner spoke reporters Wednesday night. I asked Turner about his frustration this season, and he said it has been difficult at times because he feels he is a better quarterback but he is not playing as well as he did last season.

He said he met at length with Coach Ralph Friedgen, and any misunderstanding Turner had about Friedgen’s make-plans-for-the-future comments Sunday has been cleared up.

Turner said Maryland will be loaded at quarterback in the spring, so that is something Maryland fans can look forward to.
