Wake Forest Leads, 35-10, at Half

Well, the defense took a significant step backward tonight, a super-sized step backwards.

Wake Forest has 381 total yards. Maryland has 74 total yards. Complete domination.

Well, at least Virginia comes to College Park next week. Oh, that's right, Virginia blasted Indiana today. Someone has to win this division, but do not ask me which team.

What word would you use to describe the defense in the first half tonight?

Just a terrible display tonight. To say this team was not prepared for this game is an UNDERSTATEMENT. The defense looks horrible and the DBs don't seem to have an idea of what is going on. Turner does not look like a senior QB and the o-line is showing no improvement. I could have dealt with a loss, but not in this manner. No more this is a "young" team excuse. This team needs to show more improvement. You can see that Wake came into this game prepared. MD must've thought they could just show up and win. I have also not seen any adjustments by the d-coordinator. Wake keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe it is a lack of execution, but it sucks not matter what. Hopefully they will show up next week against UVA or we are looking at the same result (This time in front of the home crowd).

UVa pounded the Terps last year, but maybe home field will turn that around. These teams are just unpredictable.
