Wake Forest Strikes First
All this talk about Wake Forest's struggling running game, but the Demon Deacons started the game with five straight running plays, including a 48-yard run down the right sideline by tailback Josh Adams. He tiptoed into the end zone, eluding a diving tackle attempt by Demetrius Hartsfield at the end.
