This interview and blog post was a mindless, meandering waste of blogosphere. Anyone acquainted with Yow's managerial style knows that she's not going to provide illuminating comments regarding coaches. Yow does not buy out contracts. Friedgen will be around two more years unless he decides to retire. Williams will remain basketball coach as long as he desires, etc. If you look at any college athletic dept, natually you will find coaches and AD's who do not always get along. Human beings have egos so natually differences will arise. But I do not think Gary Williams was ever on the verge of being fired. I'd love to see such evidence presented.
This is a perfect example of a reporter trying to drum up drama and fill up space.
