Prediction Time

I am 7-3 with my predictions this season, and this one is not that hard.

Florida State 31, Maryland 17

It may not be that close. Maryland has yet to score an offensive touchdown without Chris Turner.

What's everyone else think?

FSU put up 41 without Ponder on the road to a team that beat Maryland.

Yo Vis - i hope for your sake that our boys beat the noles. But just don't see it - get ready for some trash-talking from the old lady...

As long as it's less humiliating than last year's Rhode's Scholar love fest.

After watching that and the Maryland/Georgetown basketball game in close proximity my girlfriend won't watch Maryland sports with me anymore.

It's nice to know we have a relentless homer up in NYC. Hold down the fort Vis!

Despite not turning the ball over a single time last week, the Terps STILL got hammered by VaTech. The Terps probably face a more potent offense this week, even with a backup QB. Robinson look TERRIBLE last week, and is just filling in to save O'Brien's redshirt. I don't see what the coaches can do to get these kids motivated. There are no top-level seniors that are auditioning for the NFL, and there's very little to play for aside from making progress from week to week. I think the Terps play as well as they did last week, and with Scott returning it makes the game a little bit closer...

I think EJ will play well against the Terps. One wonders if he would have played sooner if he had signed with us as the Terps had hoped. Really you thought Jamarr didn't play well? Really? I was wondering why Chris had started all those games. FSU and Nike actually manage to come up with uglier unis than MD's embarrassingly hideous camo duds by teaming up a black helmet with their black montage. Actually, a black helmet for the Terps would be a huge improvement alla the Ravens. Too bad that no one in La La Land College Park can remember that the actual school colors are black and GOLD!

As usual, I'm with Viscardo. But don't think it will be nearly as high scoring. Cannot believe the over/under for this game is 58.5 with TWO back up QBs. As Boomer would say...COME ON, MAYIN!

The players had the game won and the coaches lost it for them. Franklin choked on the Terps' last possession. 1 dive into the line and 2 quarterback draws when FSU is playing for the run guarantees giving the ball back and the momentum. If there was ever a reason to fire coaches, this game is it. Fire Fridge and Franklin NOW.

Fire Franklin, keep Fridge. This is the majority sentiment of fans at Byrd stadium and in the parking lots outside. I have yet to hear a single MD fan at any MD game call for Fridge's firing. I don't know who these clowns are who call for his firing relentlessly on the internet, but they are in the minority of Terps fans.

Fridge is the best thing that ever happened to Terp football...the internet clowns just have short memories.
