VaTech gets on the board first
Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed a 30-yard pass down the left sideline to Jarrett Boykin whose knee hit the ground at the one yard-line. On the next play, tailback Ryan Williams plunged in for the score.
Virginia Tech 7, Maryland 0 -- 10:48 left in the first quarter.

I'm sorry to say this but these Terps are as bad as the teams in early to mid 90s. Horrible defense. No pressure even when blitzing. DBs can not cover and never even look at the ball. Offense is equally poor. I don't think it is just a case of youth. It looks as if they lack overall talent to be competitive. Near future may be as bleak as current.
