Vasquez earns ACC player of the week honors

Just received notice from the folks at the Atlantic Coast Conference that senior guard Greivis Vasquez has been named the conference's player of the week. It is the fifth time in Vasquez's career that he has received such an honor.

Vasquez earned the recognition after averaging 26.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists during wins over Winston-Salem State and Florida Atlantic. He shot 58.3 percent from the field and 60.0 percent (6 for 10) from three-point range during those two games.
