Vasquez will not start against EKU
Maryland senior guard Greivis Vasquez will not start this afternoon against Eastern Kentucky after arriving late to a noon shootaround earlier today, according to a team spokesman.
Junior guard Adrian Bowie will start in place of Vasquez, who is expected to play. Bowie, who will make his first start of the season today, is shooting 30.3 percent from the field and averaging 3.0 points per game.
Vasquez is averaging 12.8 points per game. He is shooting 32.3 percent from the field and 28.1 percent from three-point range. This is the first time Vasquez has not started for Maryland in 80 games. On March 3, 2007, Vasquez came off the bench against N.C. State.

Thankfully Gary did not listen to the moron above. If Vasquez had been benched the entire game, we lose the game.
If the moron above had his way, Brenda Friese would be coaching the mens team and Choi would be starting above Vasquez.

Gotta shut Goins down until he's 100%. Need to establish the inside/out game w/ Williams et, al. General Greivis needs to play w/i himself and put the team first.
