Vote on the best of the decade

Think Maryland's 2002 men's basketball national title was the best local sports story of the decade? How about the Terrapins' 2006 women's basketball national championship? Where do Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter and Kristi Toliver stand among the area's best athletes of the decade? The D.C. Sports Bog is asking readers to vote on the top local stories, top local athletes and biggest local busts. Stop by and cast your vote, and state your case in the comments or in an e-mail to sportsdecade@wpost.com. Dan Steinberg will publish the best reader takes in separate D.C. Sports Bog posts.

Where does Duke's 10 pt comeback in final minute against MD rank on the list? That was a GREAT story! Even if some koolaid drinkers on here think anything that doesn't make local teams look good should be banned from the list.

I remember that game, I had a few lines of meth in the cole field house bathroom and had some good times enjoying the chaos at the end of the game. Man those were the days

C'mon fake-poop. It wasn't meth, it was crank.

If you're gonna impersonate me you could atleast get all the facts straight.
