Maryland game to start at 7 p.m.

The men's basketball game between Maryland and Virginia Tech will begin at 7 p.m., according to a Maryland team spokesman. The move from 6:30 to 7 was done so that the game would be broadcast on more television affiliates.

UPDATE: The game will be televised on WDCA-TV in Washington and on WNUV-TV in Baltimore. The game also will be streamed live at theACC.com for no charge.

So what's the concern? No bathrooms? Concession stands? They really can't delay this to tomorrow if both teams are present along with the officials.

Maybe it's the fire sprinklers? Since they wouldn't have water?

Whew.

Somehow I think they'll be working on the inbounds drill on Monday.

Big win though. Much to love along with the semi-exasperating parts.

My son suggested that I wait until tomorrow to post a comment because I am perhaps a little lit. But I told him EVERYONE ON THE SITE WOULD BE!

So here is my intitial reaction with a more thoughtful post to come in the AM:

This is the happiest I have been since the NC game. GV is POY in the ACC. This road win is a huge confidence builder. It will help us in Charlottesville.

Duck Fuke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweet win. Way to fight to the end.

Yeah, that throw-in turnover was ill-conceived. Should have thrown it long to kill time.
