Great news if true. Absolutely deserved by both. Now I have nothing to whine about (this week).

Congrats to each of them... good to see them rewarded for a year no one thought they would have. Persistence indeed pays off. Now only if Gary can become recruiter of the year so he'd consistently have some better players to coach Maryland wouldn't be such an afterthought at the beginning of each season.

Wow!!! this is great!... Congrats to you both. Well deserved award, I just hope that Coach Gary can continue to recruit some hungry, athletic but yet talented prospects in the years to come. 7 footers to slashers to point guards!!! Yep... this is University of Maryland and people need to "FEAR DA TURTLE"

GV - continue carrying this team with your gritty, inspired, well rounded play.

GW - continue out-coaching each team and motivating our team.

Terps - continue this run deep into the NCAA's. You've got the seniors, depth and talent to get to the Elite 8 (at least)

Congrats to both, you are very desrving. GV is now the poster child of staying four years, and Gary secures his place in Springfield.
