Former Maryland Coach Dave Cottle to interview at Penn State

Former Maryland men's lacrosse coach Dave Cottle will interview for the vacancy at Penn State on Tuesday or Wednesday, two sources in the coaching community said on Monday. Cottle resigned as coach at Maryland after his team's quarterfinal loss to Notre Dame on May 22.

Cottle went 99-45 in nine seasons at Maryland, including 12-4 this past season. The other finalists for the Nittany Lions' job include Brown Coach Lars Tiffany, Drexel Coach Brian Voelker and Colgate Coach Jim Nagle, according to numerous sources in coaching.
