Eaton says he hasn't considered being candidate for permanent U-Md. athletic director position
Maryland interim Athletic Director Randy Eaton said in a teleconference Monday afternoon that he has not had time to consider whether he would like to maintain the post he was given earlier today on a permanent basis.
"All of this has happened so quickly, you know, what are we at, 96 hours since we really found out about Debbie," said Eaton, who was appointed the interim athletic director Monday morning. "And to be honest with you, all I've thought about is returning phone calls and emails today. I haven't really thought beyond going home later on this evening."
