Virginia assistant meets with Maryland about lacrosse coaching vacancy
Virginia men's lacrosse assistant Marc Van Arsdale met with Maryland officials this week about the school's vacant head coaching job, according to two sources familiar with the search. It is unclear how much interest Van Arsdale has in the job.
Van Arsdale just completed his ninth season on Coach Dom Starsia's staff at Virginia. He previously was the head coach at Pennsylvania, where he led the Quakers to a 27-39 overall record from 1997 to 2001.
