Yow receives five-year deal from N.C. State
Less than an hour from now, former Maryland athletic director Debbie Yow will be introduced in the same role at N.C. State. Yow received a five-year contract that is set to begin July 15, 2010 and expire July 14, 2015. She will be paid a base salary of $350,000 annually and will receive an additional $100,000 annually in supplemental compensation.
Should Yow, 58, be fired without cause or choose to leave N.C. State for a job at another institution prior to the end of her contract, she would not be allowed to obtain employment with any other ACC school until July 2015.

Sartorial excellence has never been part of the NCSU mindset...remember Norm Sloan's plaid jackets?

I'd imagine this is DY's last gig b4 she retires. I hope she helps Sid shop for a new wardrobe vs. the Wolfpack's rivals. Those ugly red jackets have got to go Sid! Better focus on X's and O's this year with all your top recruits or you're gonna get run out quicker than Herb? And he had a winning record in ACC play! Good luck and best wishes Debbie - get that budget set in line!
