Poll: How excited are you for Maryland football 2010?

Hello, everyone. I hope everyone had a great summer. I had a blast. Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen will address the media shortly. I wanted to get a sense of how excited fans are for Maryland football 2010, so I encourage everybody to answer the poll question and email me at prisbelle@washpost.com.

Talk to everyone soon.

Eric,

After Navy rolls over the Twerps opening day, the beginning of the end will start for Fat Man. It should have ended for him last year but UMD did not have the guts to pull the trigger. There was a reason NOBODY hired fat man for 30 years as head coach. HE BLOWS!

It would be nice if you posted a comment that adressed this year and not last...I agree with you that Friedgen should have been fired last year however it had nothing to do with guts...it had to do with cold hard cash...Cash will always remain king...O lot of folks do not realize that yows departure had a lot to do with cash...She made a huge blunder regarding the suites...The navy game is pivotal and if he does not have the team prepared then, yes, he needs to go and go fast...

Living here i ncary nc i can tell ya nc state fans are furious with the yow decision...

How can anyone be excited about this program?
There is zero commitment from the University community for Maryland football to be a better than average program.
