TE L. Watson out for season
Junior tight end Lansford Watson is out for the season with a partial tear of his MCL. Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen had hoped that Watson could play through the season while wearing a brace, but that's not to be. Watson will undergo surgery Thursday.
Today's scrimmage has been moved to Monday evening. Friedgen wants players to get healthy -- or at least a little more rest -- before the final scrimmage of training camp.

Well, so much for that 4 star recruit. Don't expect much this season.
