U-Md. names new president: Iowa provost Loh

Wallace D. Loh, provost at the University of Iowa, has been appointed president of the University of Maryland, according to our blog, College Inc.

what maryland grad was in the running for PRESIDENT??????? When was that ever a main requirement?

You hire the BEST person available. It would be "nice" if a Terp alum had been that person but we want the best. Good luck to President Loh.
