A quick Maryland quarterback update
A quick update from Coach Ralph Friedgen’s Sunday teleconference:
Backup quarterback Danny O’Brien’s sprained right ankle is not as serious as previously thought, but it remains to be seen if he can play Saturday at West Virginia along with starter Jamarr Robinson.
As for Robinson, after watching tape, Friedgen said he missed some opportunities in the passing game, but some of the fault rests with the wide receivers, as well. Some of the routes were “erratic,” Friedgen said.
