Maryland LT Gilbert has cartilage damage
Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen said left tackle Justin Gilbert has cartilage damage after injuring his left leg in Saturday’s 31-17 loss at West Virginia. There was some swelling Sunday, but not as much as anticipated. He will undergo an MRI on Monday.
Starting quarterback Jamarr Robinson has a sore shoulder but he will play Saturday against Florida International.
Backup quarterback Danny O’Brien has a right ankle sprain.
