Maryland LT Gilbert has cartilage damage

Maryland Coach Ralph Friedgen said left tackle Justin Gilbert has cartilage damage after injuring his left leg in Saturday’s 31-17 loss at West Virginia. There was some swelling Sunday, but not as much as anticipated. He will undergo an MRI on Monday.

Starting quarterback Jamarr Robinson has a sore shoulder but he will play Saturday against Florida International.

Backup quarterback Danny O’Brien has a right ankle sprain.
