Crowning an ACC Atlantic Division champion 128 different ways
If you want the complete list of 128 different ways to crown an Atlantic Division champion, check it out here. Patrick Stevens figured it out in his down time.
There are 31 scenarios that enable Maryland to claim the division title, and all except one require the Terrapins to beat Florida State in their prime-time Nov. 20 game that will be televised on ABC. The one that does not is the so-called doomsday permutation that would break a three-way tie among Maryland, North Carolina State and Florida State one of two ways: with the Bowl Championship Series ratings or, more inexplicably, with essentially a random drawing out of a hat.
“Wow, that’s crazy,” wide receiver Torrey Smith said. “With our luck this year, we might actually get our name drawn if it actually went down to that. If it were last year, they’d probably pull it out in flames or our name wouldn’t even be in there. Hopefully it doesn’t get down to that.”

Win out, and there are no worries. I would actually like to see FSU take out Clemson Saturday so the Terps have a few bit more wiggle room. An FSU loss on Sunday creates a nightmare senario of tiebreakers, and the possibility of a 4-loss team making the conference championship. Even if it were Maryland, I would really feel ashamed to travel to Charlotte for that game with 4 losses.

Winning out starts with beating the Wahoos. So beat the stinking Wahoos.

Exactly, win out and the other 127 permutations become moot.

Just win every game. That's you need.
Of course, if we lose to UVA, then we don't deserve to go to Charlotte.

Anyone going to the UVA game? We need as much Terp support there as possible.
