UMD ABSOLUTELY made the right hire. Randy Edsall is a great coach, and will put together a solid team, without the gimmicks and distraction that Mike Leach would have brought.
It's unfortunate that the Fridge got thrown under the bus, but I think UMD chose the right guy. It's nice that he considers UMD his "dream job", which is yet another distinction from Leach.
