#operaplot Delivers to DC Teacher

I've posted a few times here about the opera plot contest on Twitter, in which people were encouraged to sum up opera plots in 140 characters or less. Well, that contest -- its results are summarized here and here -- has had a strange and wonderful ending in DC. I summed it up thus on Twitter:

#operaplot: music writer has contest; Portland-based Brit wins; DC teacher gets Cinderella prize. This one's true.

Here's the story in today's Washington Post. Congratulations to Priscilla Barrow, the DC music teacher who will be attending the Opera Ball on June 5.

Edited to add: Here's a link to the blog post about the story from one of the protagonists, Stephen Llewellyn.
