Alt-classical, redux

This weekend, Anthony Tommasini, in the New York Times, gave his own take on the "alt-classical" phenomenon.

Edited to add: Composer-blogger Kyle Gann, whose blog PostClassic is well worth following, has a few things to say about Tommasini's allegation that dogma is no more.
