Ms Midgette is being kind to point out that the Rusty Musicians were pretty good musicians. Some were, some weren't.
The Baltimore Symphony members and their conductor were terrific sports about the whole evening, chatting with the Rusty bunch and letting some take solo or lead roles while covering up many of the mistakes with their fine playing.
All in all a terrific evening and a well-written piece by Ms Midgette.
