DNC Enters the Fray in NY-20

The Democratic National Committee and the Obama White House are doubling down in a New York special election with a new ad in which the president offers an endorsement of Democrat Scott Murphy.

Obama himself does not appear in the ad nor is his voice heard. Instead, a picture of him is shown as a narrator says: "Upstate New Yorkers deserve someone with the right skills to represent them in Washington. That's why President Obama is supporting Scott Murphy for Congress."

Polling -- both private and public -- shows Murphy in a dead heat with state Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R) with just days left before Tuesday's special election.

The ad is below. We'll have more on this story in tomorrow's Cheat Sheet.

You're really going to compare the Democratic party to the Zanu-PF? And Obama to Robert Mugabe? To a brutal regime that has committed crimes against humanity? To a man who in order to force his opponent out of the race for president burned Tsvangirai's son alive? Seriously? Do you even think about this stuff?

And this is to say nothing of the fact that we are nowhere near the level of poverty that has wracked Zimbabwe, with inflation in the millions of percent.

Further proof that conservitives don't get it and would prefer to just spew vitriol and ignorance.

We are Zimbabwe, says zoukie. Now there's a precise analogy for you. So what that our economic standard of living is 100 times theirs and our ruling party isn't murdering it's political opponents. Got any more good analogies for us, jokerman?

Someone should investigate the DNC for racketeering; they are even worse than the RNC.

government ruins economy. Barry declares himself emperor, constitution obsolete. Government returns to finish the job.

They screwed everything up yet who thinks they are the ones to fix it? You have to be a loon.
