Daily Fix Poll: Does Bristol Palin on "Dancing with the Stars" help or hurt Sarah Palin?
By Aaron Blake
There is a considerable amount of buzz today about whether former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) got booed during her appearance Monday night on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." (Mrs. Fix's favorite show -- aside from "Friday Night Lights" of course!)
ABC co-host Tom Bergeron says no, but not everyone agrees.
Palin, of course, was there to cheer on her daughter, Bristol, who is competing alongside a smattering of other B- and C-list celebrities -- now that David Hasselhoff has been voted off the show. (Apparently you do hassle the Hoff.)
While the booed/not booed debate is a tempest in a teapot, it does raise larger questions about whether Bristol Palin's star turn on the show -- and the guest appareances by her mother -- are a good, bad or neutral factor for the former Alaska governor's future political ambitions.
