Debate and Draft Preview

Two of The Fix's favorite things converge tonight: politics and basketball. The NBA Draft begins at 7 pm on ESPN; the third Democratic debate of the campaign from Howard University is on PBS at 9.

Needless to say, we'll be absolutely glued to our television -- watching the debate (and the draft) from home and offering some thoughts on each. (Never fear, political junkies, there will be a lot more on the debate than the draft.)

In the meantime, we're interested to know your thoughts on the debate. Who would be your #1 pick in tonight's debate? Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) has shined in the first two debates but Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) improved significantly between the first and second debate and could be primed for a star turn tonight. Or is former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.), who has dominated media coverage this week with his (and his wife's) spat with conservative columnist Ann Coulter, the candidate most likely to win tonight's debate?

Use the comments section below to offer your thoughts. And, if the spirit moves you, give us your top five picks in the NBA draft too. Make sure to tune into The Fix tonight at 9 for the latest and greatest.
