Fix Pics: Inside the Denver Convention

DENVER -- The Fix prides itself on bringing our loyal community behind the political curtain so that you see what we see on a daily basis.

For the back to back national conventions, we've brought along our Fix camera (following in the footsteps of legendary shutterbug Dan Balz) and, once a day, we'll try to post some of the best images.

The Fix -- surprisingly enough -- is not a professional photographer. So, these pictures may not evoke Ansel Adams but hopefully they will give Fixistas a richer sense of the sights of the conventions.

Will Gore steal Dem nomination Thursday night as he may be holding about 100 super delegates' support to deter others and conveniently take advantage of political discontent, chaos and confusion of primaries? As multi-millionaire, will he privatize US governments' programs, infrastructure and jobs for big profit$$$?

Will Obama be rid of with his own generated sex and financial scandals? There is a term called "down load" in the black community for professionals who have gay sex on the side despite being married with children and have respectable daytime jobs. Larry Sinclair has come forward with gay sex and drug use claims with Obama in November 1999. Google "barack obama is a closet homosexual," or "Video: Pastor Manning Says Obama is Homosexual...," or "Digg - Is Larry Sinclair Obama's dark secret," etc.

President FDR won the 4th ballot in the roll call process in 1932. The rest is history. It should be allowed on Wednesday night. Otherwise the DNC leaves an undeniable impression that the process is stolen especially since Pelosi and Dean orchestrated MI and FLA votes in favor of Obama since summer of 2007.

Is Ted Kennedy's malignant brain tumor a fraud to distract from his real legacy of his 1968/69 Chappaquidic sex/murder scandal because he doesn't seem to have chemo and radiation side effects such as weight loss due to loss of appetite, jauntice, etc.?

Wonder if Obama’s plane failure a couple of weeks ago was a cover up of his involvement in the general tampering of opponents’ planes during this election season? Does he have another "tampering" attempt scheduled for this Sunday when opponent’s plane is scheduled to fly from NY/NJ area to Madison, Wisconsin??? hmmmm....

Obama made a massive mistake not healing the wounds with Hillary early, early on - in fact there should have been some sort of arrangement made in April between the two sides for the good of the party.

OK.

Clearly this split is painful and clearly Obama has shown himself to be a horrible leader for allowing this situation to go on and on as it has - Obama has only hurt himself by not making peace.

Obama's refusal to not take on Hillary's debt was crazy - Obama should have run to that debt.

I can just imagine what happened - McCain called Hillary - I hear you have some debt - what if I help you with some of that situation? NOW HILLARY PEOPLE ARE SHOWING UP AT MCCAIN EVENTS EN MASS.

Obama was a complete idiot on the handling of this - Obama has failed to unite his own party and he has had all summer to work on that - however Obama is supposed to be the uniter.

The complex analysis is this: Obama is supposed to be the new politics, the new leader, the transcendent one - except when it comes to Hillary (and when it comes to using false accusations of racial offense or racial themes to advance his own campaign.)

CLEARLY OBAMA IS A FRAUD TO HIS OWN CAMPAIGN THEMES. UNBELIEVABLE THAT THE MEDIA HAS NOT CALLED OBAMA OUT ON THIS - HE IS A MINORITY CANDIDATE WHO HAS WON THE NOMINATION BASED ON AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM FOR DELEGATE ALLOCATIONS AND APPORTIONMENTS.

Hillary had more Democratic Votes than Obama - why aren't the Democratic delegates at least tied?

This nomination was stolen from a White Woman based on an Affirmative Action Program.

A White Man has almost no chance to be nominated by the Democratic Party at this point.

If you do not agree with that statement, Ask Biden who has been in the Senate for 35 years and has more experience than anyone - the democratic party starved him for money while millions were going to Hillary, Obama and Richardson AND then very few Democrats wanted to VOTE for who was CLEARLY THE BEST AND MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION SENATOR JOE BIDEN.

Joe Biden - victim of the new Jim Crow Era in the Democratic Party - White Men have no chance.

Obama/Biden is an unbeatable ticket. The rest of you are just spewing hate. Doesn't make McCain supporters look very good...or smart.
Let's throw all the bums out who have bought us to the horrible palce in our country! All the selfish and dark minds like Dick Cheney and George Bush - oil men. Obama and Biden will call it like it is - we have a pair of statesmen who can bring back our economy and join the global community in fighting terrorism. Obama is the strategist, Biden is tactics. McCain is...a good soldier.

Wonder if Gore will suddenly steal the nomination as he will be speaking on Thursday night, the same time as Obama?

According to outside sources, Gore may be installed as Prez because Obama's job was to rid of Hillary. Once done, he is to be disposed of via his own generated scandals (Sinclair sex, murder, Rezko, Iraqi billionaire, etc.) Gore may have about 100 superdelegates in his back pocket just for this cause so no candidate will have enough to win and he can take advantage of the contempt, chaos and confusion of dem convention, etc.

The roll call is a dem tradition since the 1880's. It provides all candidates a chance to be officially nominated by the all delegates. President FDR's name was placed in the ballot in 1932 and won on the 4th ballot. The rest is history. The roll call should go on. It is the procedure and part of process of Democratic system.

The Democrats should be embarrassed of Obama.
He has shown racism, sexism and has slapped the Clintons in the face.
How could anyone be proud of this man?
Remember Wright, his mentor?
Louis Farrakhan's :20,000 Nation of Islam worshipers?
Now we have Ayers and Rezko as associations from his past?

Stop with worrying about the race factor. Worry about our countries leader as a far out radical with anti American supporters.

Obama looks like an empty slimy fish affirmative action suit next to Biden - the democratic party has completely lost its mind to collectively select Obama over Biden in the primaries this year.

A joke I say.

The democratic party is so lost over their selection process this year that the country should decide that the democratic party itself is unfit to govern anything - at any level of government.

Notice that the Democratic Party--controlled MSM hasn't reported on one of Barack Obama's few U.S. Senate legislative accomplishments. On 12/7/07 Barack Obama introduced and sponsored the Global Poverty Act S.2433 of 2007. This was a global tax proposal to fund the U.N.'s Millenium Plan and would have required us U.S. taxpayers to pay .7% of our Gross National Product until the year 2015, or $845 billion dollars to meet the U.N.'s goals. This S.2433 bill was co--sponsored by Joe Biden, surprise, surprise. This Obama sponsored U.S. taxpayers money give-a-way to the U.N., which would have cost every family in the U.S. a thousand dollars or so each, was placed on the Senate Legislation Calender under General Orders (Calender No.718). It may be near death now but if Barack Obama gets elected this bill will probably see new life along with a big tax increase to fund it from all of us. Anybody who still believes that Barack Obama would lower our taxes if he gets elected probably still believes in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

For all this talk about how many houses McCain has, one would wonder what Speaker Pelosi does with her 100s of millions. I'll bet she owns a house or two or three,... She also controls the legislation brought to the floor. Maybe someone should ask her. And while we are at it, how many houses does E.Kennedy own? What about billionaires Heinz heiress Kerry and his wife? Oh thats right, they have separate accounts just like McCain and his wife. How much of a loan did Kerry get on one of his houses to finance his campaign in 2004? Six million wasn't it? Trying to blame the housing mess on McCain is telling the American public that the democrat party thinks that they are all fools.

Madhatter,

why did Obama break bread with a guy that tried to blow up the Pentagon ( Bill Ayers ) ?

It's mind boggling. What's more mind boggling is the Barack News Channels never have even given this a blip.

The Obama campaign and their worshipping journalists refuse to ask Obama as far as I have seen. This alone makes him unfit for command.

The guys' the biggest phony that I have ever seen in politics.

Even The "Clinton News Network" poll tonight has the race at 47% to 47%, dead heat, taken today...AFTER the Biden announcment. The American people are starting to wake up and see the guy for what he really is, except the far left nutcakes.

A negative bounce on your VP annoucement. Really it's very funny to watch him sink like a rock.

WHAT "HILLARY WILL RELEASE HER DELEGATES" REALLY MEANS:

Reports that Hillary will "release" her delegates on Wedneday are being misread by the Obamanists.

She will release her delegates after the roll call.

If Hillary wins, she will release with a recommendation that her delegates support the nomination of Al Gore for the top of the ticket.

She will say something like this:

"The delegates have spoken. It is obvious that they want a candidate other than Barack Obama at the top of the ticket. But if I accept the nomination, I realize it will further divide the party. And I will not be a party to that.

"So I am releasing my delegates to vote as they wish... but it is my wish that my supporters vote to nominate a unity candidate who will be welcomed by all. And that candidate is -- Al Gore."

Gore would then name Barack Obama as his VP pick, the entire convention will break out in a chorus of "kumbayah."

President Gore will later name Hillary Clinton to the Supreme Court, after her triumphant return to the Senate as majority leader.

BUT WILL THE ELECTION EVEN MATTER? Not when government-supported "vigilante injustice" squads are "gang stalking" American citizens, making a mockery of the rule of law:

anon. 06:57 PM tries to excuse Barack Obama's over 20 year support and membership of the racist white-hating and America-hating church Trinity United for Christ by mentioning a few good things that they and Pastor Wright did over these years. Oprah Winfrey quit after she heard a few of Wright's sermons, so why didn't Barack Obama? Why did he and Michelle stay in that church for more than 20 years? Why did they take their two daughters to that church every Sunday to be brainwashed in this racist white and America-hatred? Those are the questions Barack Obama and his supporters haven't answered. I'm getting tired of this Black Liberation Theology rant against Obama. "Why didn't Obama leave the church years ago?" is the question asked over and over again by those on the right.
"Hillary should have divorced Bill!!"
"If you like the Canadian health care system so much why don't you move there"
"If you're not with us you're against us!"
"America: love it or leave it!"

When Obama is President does that mean you guys will all move away just because you don't agree with his policies?

Rev. Wright has done a lot of good things in his ministry over the years. Barack chose to work within the church to build on the good things and help it evolve away from Black Liberation Theology. You can't find any evidence that Obama ever espoused a belief in BLT. In fact, his whole adult life is a testament to his rejection of it.

In my church (Presbyterian) we have a vigorous debate going over the ordination of GLBT clergy. I don't quit my church because my minister is on one side or the other of that issue.

I have been deeply ashamed of the behavior of my government in recent years, but I don't move away because of that. I work to move things in the right direction because I care about my fellow citizens.

rtfanning are you crazy? seriously, have you completely lost it?

I mean, for all of your fears of Barack Obama, why aren't you afraid of continuing the current administration? What benefits do you get from policies that create wars, high gas prices, record levels of consumer debt, out of control healthcare costs, budget deficits and growing national debt, and on and on. Why would you want to continue the direction of this country so much that you'd lie about and distort Barack Obama's record? Who are you trying to protect? Dick Cheney? George Bush? Alberto Gonzalez? I don't get what you think you are preserving.

Barack Obama will take our country in a new direction; in fact he already is! Bush finally came around to Obama's position about the need for a timetable to withdraw from Iraq. He choice of Joe Biden proves that he'll surround himself with the best and brightest competent, independent thinking professionals.

Imagine if our government could actually govern again! Imagine having a government to respond to national emergencies like Katrina, making healthcare accessible to everyone, improving education, getting our financial house in order, and restoring our place of leadership in the world. As a country we rank in the 20s for education, healthcare, and any other measure of health. We need a change and we need it now!

Obama in Wisconsin

Saul Alinsky – google him and ask yourself why “Rules for Radicals” was such a germane piece of work in Obama’s early political thinking, i.e., “find a problem within the middle class, and rub that wound raw.”

As Obama delivers speeches in Wisconsin today and talks about his extreme concern for the working man, wonder how genuine you think he really those ‘words’ really are.

We will never know what Barrack Hussein Obama really believes. What we do know is that when he went to an Islamic parochial school in Indonesia and his religion was identified as Muslim and that after he returned to Hawaii, he still identified himself as Muslim. Sometime, over 25 years ago, he was told by the old-school Chicago Political machine that groomed him that he needed to start thinking about the future and establish a power base through affiliation with a powerful black Christian Church and lo and behold, he’s a “Christian” . . . well sorta, he became an official member of , an organization, Trinity United Church of Christ, whose charter is (was? I haven’t’ recently checked the website to see if it was scrubbed . . . go ahead check it out, (http://www.tucc.org)): “We are an African people, and remain ‘true to our native land,’ the mother continent, the cradle of civilization.” Black liberation theology, masquerading as a Christian Organization, with a pastor who “God-damn[s] America.”

Lovely! An organization of Negroes whose primary allegiance is not to America but rather to Africa. Such is the essence of black liberation theology (and its practical hypocrisy by Wright): the duty and allegiance of Blacks is not to their native born country, America, but rather to their mother-land, Africa. Such ethnocentricity smacks a blow to the very notion of American patriotism and the relinquishing of a U.S. immigrant’s nation of origin, let alone that of an American citizen’s distant ancestor, as a defining characteristic of U.S. citizenship. Sitting in the pews for 20 years listening to such theology, one can only guess how a President Barack Obama would view his primary allegiance -- to America? or rather to some distant ideal of a Black Supremacist continent of Africa. Punctuating the notion that we are like the bedfellows whom we choose to hang with, we only need to read the words of his literal bedfellow – his wife, to learn that she also held tight beliefs in separation theology. From her thesis at Princeton: 'By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight.”
Would You Hire Barack Obama?
