Hockey Moms Against Palin

One of the most important traits when covering -- or participating in -- the political game is a sense of humor. Politics is deadly serious but it also, at times, is absolutely and totally ridiculous.

And so, every once in a while, you just need to laugh. And, the Web video below -- produced by folks behind the parody site News Groper -- elicited a guffaw from the Fix.

"The goal is to produce consistent high quality topical sketches and hopefully become an online destination for really smart political humor," said Jared Neumark, one of the founders of the site.

It's a well-done satire of Sarah Palin's so-called "Hockey Mom" status that owes a comedic debt of gratitude to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth ads in 2004.

To greyfox.
You may want to do some research on Palin's approval rating in Alaska. It is misleading the people of America. The approval is now down to 76% and the polling result is from a random interview of FOUR HUNDRED Alaskan people. The figure does NOT represent the 700,000 populas but not even 1/10th of 1 percent of the population..

MJ? YOu must really believe what you post, I'm just wondering where you get your information from? Can you post some links?
Unlike a lot of people, I like to get information from all sides before making my vote. I must admit, I have never read anything like that. Bush and the republicans are in power right now. How can it be the Dems fault the economy is sinking?

You Libs (Socialists) are really DUMB! Why do you think you pay $3.50+ a gallon for gas? A: Left wingers are beholden to environmentalist and won't allow (real) drilling or nuclear power or pretty much anything. Why do you think Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac failed? A: Democratic Cronyism. And for all those media types who think if Obama loses, it will because of race......WRONG....It will because he is a Leftist Liberal Socialist. If John McCain were black and Obama were White, I would be voting for J. McCain based on their polices, not their race.

And now we're into Miz Paling's "witch hunter" pastor friend and her daughter's drug-snorting video from 2 years ago. Nuts! These people are just plain nuts! And some of 'my fella Americans' think they want this nonsense representing them? Good Lord, I cannot believe how dumbed down so many Americans have become. Un-bloody-believable!

We should be more sensitive to the poor after all they employ a lot of people distributing government goodies to them.
Those large corporations hardly employ anyone and their employees hardly pay any taxes. A pox on all large employers. Let's go the Obama way and socialize everything.

Sarah Palin only has one son playing hockey? And she claims to be a hockey mom?
No way! You need at least 8 kids to play hockey before you can call yourself a hockey mom. That's a new liberal definition of a hockey mom. Are these people stupid or what? With an 85% approval rating are we to believe that everyone that was intervied was anti Palin, c'mon give us a little more credit than that. This is what is meant when we claim the media is liberal. Now if you were fair and balanced we'd hear from the pro Palin side. Oh wait, my stupidity is showing, why would I expect fair and balanced from the liberal media or whomever made that video.

McCain in April declared that there had been "great progress economically" during the Bush years. On more than one occasion, he diagnosed Americans' concerns over the dismal U.S. economy as "psychological." (Phil Gramm, McCain's close friend and adviser supposedly excommunicated over his "whiners" remarks, was back with the campaign last week.) McCain, a man who owns eight homes nationwide, in March lectured Americans facing foreclosure that they ought to be "doing what is necessary -- working a second job, skipping a vacation, and managing their budgets -- to make their payments on time." And when all else fails, McCain told the people of the economically devastated regions in Martin County, Kentucky and Youngstown, Ohio, there's always eBay.

In his defense, McCain's shocking tone-deafness may just be a matter of perspective. When you're as well off as he is, anything below a $5 million income (a figure exceeding that earned on average by the top 0.1% of Americans) seems middle class.

*The $100 Million Man*
Courtesy of his wife Cindy's beer distribution fortune (one her late father apparently chose not to share with her half-sister Kathleen), the McCains are worth well over $100 million. (In the two-page tax summary she eventually released to the public, Cindy McCain reported another $6 million in 2006.) As Salon reported back in 2000, the second Mrs. McCain's millions were essential in launching her husband's political career. Unsurprisingly, the Weekly Standard's Matthew Continetti, who four years ago called Theresa Heinz-Kerry a "sugar mommy," has been silent on the topic of Cindy McCain.

*The Joys of (Eight) Home Ownership*
While fellow adulterer John Edwards was pilloried for his mansion, John McCain's eight homes around the country have received little notice or criticism. His properties include a 10 acre lake-side Sedona estate, euphemistically called a "cabin" by the McCain campaign, and a home featured in Architectural Digest. The one featuring "remote control window coverings" was recently put up for sale. Still, their formidable resources did not prevent the McCains from failing to pay taxes on a tony La Jolla, California condo used by Cindy's aged aunt.

*The Anheuser-Busch Windfall*
As it turns out, the beauty of globalization is in the eye of the beholder. While John McCain apparently played a critical role in facilitating DHL's takeover of Airborne (and with it, the looming loss of 8,000 jobs in Wilmington, Ohio), Cindy McCain is set to earn a staggering multi-million dollar pay-day from the acquisition of Anheuser-Busch by the Belgian beverage giant, In Bev. As the Wall Street Journal reported in July, Mrs. McCain runs the third largest Anheuser-Busch distributorship in the nation, and owns between $2.5 and $5 million in the company's stock. Amazingly, while Missouri's politicians of both parties lined up to try to block the sale, John McCain held a fundraiser in the Show Me State even as the In Bev deal was being finalized.

*McCain's $370,000 Personal Tax Break*
Earlier this year, the Center for American Progress analyzed John McCain's tax proposals. The conclusion? McCain's plan is radically more regressive than even that of President Bush, delivering 58% of its benefits to the wealthiest 1% of American taxpayers. McCain's born-again support for the Bush tax cuts has one additional bonus for Mr. Straight Talk: the McCains would save an estimated $373,000 a year.

*Paying Off $225,000 Credit Card Debt - Priceless*
That massive windfall from his own tax plan will come in handy for John McCain. As was reported in June, the McCains were carrying over $225,000 in credit card debt. The American Express card - don't leave your homes without it.

*Charity Begins at Home*
As Harpers documented earlier this year, the McCains are true believers in the old saying that charity begins at home:
.
Between 2001 and 2006, McCain contributed roughly $950,000 to [their] foundation. That accounted for all of its listed income other than for $100 that came from an anonymous donor. During that same period, the McCain foundation made contributions of roughly $1.6 million. More than $500,000 went to his kids' private schools, most of which was donated when his children were attending those institutions. So McCain apparently received major tax deductions for supporting elite schools attended by his children.
.
Ironically, the McCain campaign last week blasted Barack Obama for having attended a private school in Hawaii on scholarship. That attack came just weeks after John McCain held an event at his old prep school, Episcopal High, an institution where fees now top $38,000 a year.

*Private Jet Setters*
As the New York Times detailed back in April, John McCain enjoyed the use of his wife's private jet for his campaign, courtesy of election law loopholes he helped craft. Despite the controversy, McCain continued to use Cindy's corporate jet. For her part, Cindy McCain says that even with skyrocketing fuel costs, "in Arizona the only way to get around the state is by small private plane."

*Help on the Homefront*
In these tough economic times, the McCains are able to stretch their household budget. As the AP reported in April, "McCain reported paying $136,572 in wages to household employees in 2007. Aides say the McCains pay for a caretaker for a cabin in Sedona, Ariz., child care for their teenage daughter, and a personal assistant for Cindy McCain."

*Well-Heeled in $520 Shoes*
If clothes make the man, then John McCain has it made. As Huffington Post noted in July, "He has worn a pair of $520 black leather Ferragamo shoes on every recent campaign stop - from a news conference with the Dalai Lama to a supermarket visit in Bethlehem, PA." It is altogether fitting that McCain wore the golden loafers during a golf outing with President George H.W. Bush in which he rode around in cart displaying the sign, "Property of Bush #41. Hands Off."

These terrible newscasters attacking her with her record and words, next thing you know they will want the goddess to come down off the pedestle and answer some questions. That terrible bi-partisian commission voted 12-0 to investigate an alleged abuse of power. A librarian asked if books were banned said no comment. Republican backers of Palin told state investigators, no comment and are being subpoenaed. Looks loke the candidate that will bring transparency has been trying to stop a search for truth.

Hi I want to set the record straight. Obama,Biden, and McCain's records are open to the public. I feel the pending charges against Palin for Troopergate that are trying to be stopped by the GOP is a public outrage. If she cannot stand the heat let her resign. What is she hiding ? If one thing there is always more. How about her income ? She has not revealed that either. She has not been forthcoming on anything except negativity.

Palin is not Pilate she is satan incarnate, the true anti-christ. She wants to wage a final holy war agains Islam. She is part of the third wave movement. She has ties to Senior Pastor Mike Rose, Juneau Christian Church, Joel’s army, and Army of God, and Eric Rudoph,Lou Engle, Paster Hagee.

She tried to have books banned when she was a council woman.

Sara Palin believes that following the Rapture, those remaining will suffer through the horrors of the Tribulation, reign of the Antichrist, and the wars of Apocalypse until the return of Jesus.

Trig: n. 1. A political prop often used by the republican Christian radical right.

The governor used a trig to deflect scrutiny of the Christian theocratic aspirations to raise an army and start the final crusade cleans the world of all other religions.

Since it's always fun to listen to John McCain argue with John McCain, let's revisit McCain's two reactions to the Wall Street meltdown yesterday.

Besides probably being the fastest flip-flop in political history, these two conflicting statements also provide some insight for undecided voters...they learned that that famous "straight talk" isn't all it's cracked up to be, and that John McCain is right...he really doesn't know too much about economics.

There is nothing wrong with being happily stinking rich and utterly detached. Nothing, that is, unless you make criticizing your political opponent as "elitist" and "out of touch" a centerpiece of your campaign. Rick Davis, speaking on behalf of his $100 million man John McCain, earlier this month offered the latest formulation of Barack Obama as an effete, aloof denizen of the upper class:
.
"Only celebrities like Barack Obama go to the gym three times a day, demand 'MET-RX chocolate roasted-peanut protein bars and bottles of a hard-to-find organic brew - Black Forest Berry Honest Tea' and worry about the price of arugula."
.
Of course, Davis' "arugula war" is just another attempt at misdirection. After all, John McCain's $5 million threshold where "you move from middle class to rich" is just the latest episode of his enduring disconnect from the real lives of the American people.
.
For starters, McCain in April declared that there had been "great progress economically" during the Bush years. On more than one occasion, he diagnosed Americans' concerns over the dismal U.S. economy as "psychological." (Phil Gramm, McCain's close friend and adviser supposedly excommunicated over his "whiners" remarks, was back with the campaign last week.) Okay all you ill informed and ridiculous people (Zouk)- it's this simple:
Republicans - In charge for the past 8 years = bad economy,WAR, UNNECESARRY WAR, then lies and self interest, appoint cronies to positions they are not qualified for (i.e. Brownie, Roberto Gonzales, etc.)taking our infrastructure down, giving big oil tax breaks, giving YOU none.
Democrats - Have not had a majority in congress long enough to fix this mess. Are honest TO A FAULT - i.e. Obama telling the 527's to stand down. Will CUT taxes on people making less than 250K a year. Will provide affordable health care. Will close the ENRON TAX LOOPHOLE, which McCain's "Nation of Whiners" head economist Phil Gramm put in place, will restore our alliances around the world, will keep us safe by FINALLY being the good guys.
Don't you want to be the good guys again?
When McCain says Obama is going to raise taxes, it's not on you - unless you make more than 250K a year. And I doubt if you do, Zouk - unless someone pays you that much to post here all day.

Focus2 - you're right on the mark!!!!!

Palin is a true role model for her daughers. Her first chiled was born less than 8 months after she got married. I thought religious Conservatives practiced what they preached - abstinence before marriage. Another sign of how two faced these people are.

It boils down to who has the best judgment and intelligence to lead our nation through all the crisis facing us. No President has the answers to all our problems - if he did then he would be God. It's about who will surround himself with the right experts who do have the best answers and solutions to our problems. Republicans have a track record of surrounding themselves with those who look out for themselves not the middle class. Money = power and they are not about to give that up. Voters need to wake up that we need drastic changes in order to solve our problems.

McCain won't change things. He's been in politics too long and is too beholden to the money = power machine that has kept him in office for all these years.

Obama hasn't been in long enough to be beholden to the money = power machine. He knows that he wants a better America for his young daughters and all future generations of Americans and this won't happen if the self serving Republican remain in control of the White House.

Conservative Republicans want a smaller goverment, and less regulations, yet they want their consumer products to be safe. Look at what deregulation has gotten us? If the mortgage industry had been better regulated and there was better oversight, we would not be in this mess. If there were better regulations on the transportation industry we wouldn't see so many airlines filing for bankruptcy. How can our consumer products be safe when there aren't enough inspectors because they want to down size government?

Our government was established on a checks and balance system and this principle should also apply to big business.

Our debt keeps growing because of the Iraq war and because of this we are in debt to China, who should be viewed as a dangerous foe not ally. China is also the supplier of most of our conusmer products. We need someone who can get us out of this precarious position and it won't be the Republicans.

PALIN, LOOSE LIPS SINK SHIPS
Ever wonder why Mccain never talks about his son in Iraq? Not because he is being humble, it is because you never identify a solider, who they are or where they are deployed. For prominent people like politicians it is even more important. It puts everyone in danger who a around that person. You saw the same thing with the prince in Britain they had to actually bring him home.
So now we had this ditz Palin doing a public event around her son and his whole group. Even publishing this:
Private 1st Class Track Palin, is being deployed with xxxxx soldiers of the xxxxxxx Brigade Combat Team of the xxth Infantry Division. (I remover the info for obvious reasons).
This woman doesn't even no the most basic thing about being in command of anything. So now that everyone has her sons picture and knows where he is going, what happens if we have a nice video of him having his head cut off on camera? Or his whole squad get killed as they are trying to kill or capture him? Think she will be sorry for being so stupid? I actually don't know what to say, this is just short of treason it is so stupid. What next, she is going to tell us where Mccains son is? Maybe some nice infor on our troop strengths and where they are. Good going Palin you pig, you don't have a F'n clue.
Now we get to the worst part. John Mccain knows right off the top of his head you don't do this. Did he do anything to stop it or advise her against it or just plain tell her "DON'T DO THIS IT IS A BAD THING DO"? No he let her put her son and his comrades in added danger because it may help him POLITICLY.
It gets better. He is not even going to be deployed yet, they just staged this on 9/11 as a political stunt to take advantage of that terrible day.

The sad state of the World Economy can be can be condensed to one word…GREED. The United States two party, Presidential Election can be condensed to two words…SPECIAL INTEREST. The working man can he categorize as a pawn. If the wealthy of the world would stop and ponder the situation, they would realize if they let the pawn have expendable income, they (the wealthy) would make more money. However, it seems imperative to take until there is no more. I’m not extreme right nor left, I am just a pawn.

How could you even THINK of re-electing a Republican...ANY Republican??

They trashed our economy over the last 8 years by letting the rich run amok with ethics and put thousands out of jobs, pensions and homes.

Are you better off than you were 8 years ago?

Gas was $1.50...now it's over $4.00
Unemployment was at 3%...now it's over 6%
We had a budget surplus...now we've got a deficit
Our National debt has tripled
Average wages for the middle class have DECREASED for the first time in history!!
etc., etc., etc.

Are you better off?

If you re-elect them, you tell them that you're stupid enough to not care about what they did to the country. You tell them that it's ok to rape and pillage the middle and lower classes because us idiots will re-elect them no matter what they do to us. It's OKAY, do it again!!!

You have to be totally insane to give the White House back to the Republicans!!!!!!

McBush and Palin are jokes. They know nothing about the economy because it does not impact them. As wealthy people they are totally insulated from the day-to-day worries of 95% of Americans. In no position to understand or help. All of McBush's campaigns have ended up in HUGE DEBT and he believes we should load our country up with more debt.

I think it is important to note McBush had many years in Senate to bring about the "change" he is now spinning. I feel he is a phony, out-of touch with normal Americans as is Palin. Her record with earmarks is disturbing, not been honest about
that or abuses of power as Governor in trying to go after people who disagreed with her, which in her mind became a vendetta. That is wrong.

Palin is not a role model for women who wish to be independent, educated and informed about their bodies. The National Organization of Women endorsed Obama today. McBush does not have a solid record with women, neither does Palin. Public record, go see for yourself.

I am a true soccer Mom. No women I know support the GOP ticket. Palin is too extreme in views about abortion, birth control, creationism, hunting and national security. Go to womensaynotopalin.com

Obama is becoming a joker.

First he decided to attack Sarah Palin - that didn't work and he ended up sinking in the polls.

Then Obama decided to be the angry man - actually committing fraud against his self-constructed image of hope - he came off all angry and mean - and that didn't work

NOW Obama is attempting to put out a vague "My economic plan is better than yours" - again vague from Obama - the problem is that Obama has been championing all these new government programs for his entire campaign -

These additional government programs will require higher taxes.

OBAMA WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAX THIS NATION OUT OF ITS ECONOMIC MESS.

YOU ARE A MORON IF YOU THINK HE CAN DO THAT.

Obama is pointing everyone in the wrong direction.

Obama's people are left hoping for a better economic program - or even an economic program that works.

Obama's only economic or business experience is buying cocaine.

Seriously people Obama knows NOTHING about the economy.

Obama has built his entire career on maxing out every affirmative action program he could find until he turned the democratic delegate selection process into one giant affirmative action program including stopping Michigan and Florida voters from counting fully.

What a jokster - A Voter really has to be nuts to vote for Obama and risk the Economy on an inexperience affirmative action guy like Obama. And risk the National Security of this nation on an affirmative action guy like Obama.

FROM THE FOLKS WHO BROUGHT JOHN EDWARD'S, THEY NOW BRINGS YOU: "TRACK PALIN"
THE COKE HEAD WHO BEAT GOING TO JAIL BY GOING IN THE MILITARY AND HIS WONDERFUL PARENTS WHO RAISED SUCH A FINE FAMILY.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER’S exclusive ongoing investigation of GOP VP Nom Sarah 'Barracuda' Palin’s goes far beyond a mere teen pregnancy crisis this week!

The Enquirer’s team of reporters has combed the Alaskan wilderness to discover the hidden truth about Gov. Palin’s family, which has become a central part of her political identity.

The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that Sarah's oldest son, Track, was addicted to the power drug OxyContin for nearly the past two years, snorting it, eating it, smoking it and even injecting it. And as Track, 19, heads to Iraq as part of the U.S. armed forces, Sarah and her husband Todd were powerless to stop his wild antics, detailed in the new issue of The ENQUIRER, which goes on sale today.

THE ENQUIRER also has exclusive details about Track's use of other drugs, including cocaine, and his involvement in a notorious local vandalism incident.

“I’ve partied with him (Track) for years,” a source disclosed. “I’ve seen him snort cocaine, snort and smoke OxyContin, drink booze and smoke weed.”

The source also divulged the girls would do anything for Track and he’d use his local celebrity status to manipulate other guys “to get them to steal things he wanted.”

“He finally did what a lot of troubled kids here do,” the source divulged. “You join the military.”

And as Gov. Palin has billed the state of Alaska for various expenses related to her children, as reported by The Washington Post, The ENQUIRER's investigation reveals that she was so incensed by 17-year-old Bristol's pregnancy that she banished her daughter from the house.

Another family friend revealed pre-prego Bristol was as much of a hard partier as Track was.

“Bristol was a huge stoner and drinker. I’ve seen her smoke pot and get drunk and make out with so many guys. All the guys would brag that the just made out with Bristol.”

When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah’s sister Heather 25 miles away!

And the ENQUIRER also learned that Levi Johnston, the baby mamma’s future wedded dada, who was glad handed by John McCain at the GOP Convention, isn’t too happy about his impending shotgun nups either.

“Levi got dragged out of the house to go to Minnesota,” Levi’s friend told The ENQUIRER. “Levi realizes he’s stuck being with Bristol because her mom is running for Vice President.”

The friend also confided that both Bristol and Levi “broke up a few times and they definitely messed around with other people.”

Meanwhile, as members of the Palin family’s war viciously over “Trooper-Gate” and claims of Sarah’s extramarital affair have turned the political race into a chaotic arena of threats, denials and vicious attacks by political black ops, The ENQUIRER has discovered shocking new details about the red-hot affair scandal!

For the full story of the secrets Sarah Palin is trying to hide – pick up the new ENQUIRER!

McCain should highlight one clear point: the danger is stagflation and Obama's high tax new programs and policies plunge the economy toward stagflation.

Obama's economic plan is nuts.

Clearly higher taxes is not the way to go however that is exactly what Obama wants to do - he wants to risk a deeper recession risk stagflation so that he can fuel his own ego by creating all these new government programs.

Obama thinks he is the one everyone has been waiting for to lead us to new government programs, more affirmative action and higher taxes.

McCain should make clear the dangers ahead and how his administration will steer this nation's economy so it will roar again. McCain's economic plan is the right way for the country to lead us.

The hockey moms are against her because they know she is a fraud. Palin wasn't even interested in national issues just a week ago and now she's talking about Iraq and Washington. What does Palin Know about Washington? Nothing. She's just giving prepared speeches on the stump that sounds good but she can't back it up, hell, she can't even answer one question from a reporter. The bridge to No where is a lie, Earmarkes is a lie, 20% of Americas Oil is from Alaska, Palin said is a lie and then she walks off the stage and doesn't answer questions after telling lie after lie. She a fraud. I wouldn't trust any candidate that can't back up what they say when reporters ask them a question let alone not answering questions. This is the VP who were considering to be Commander and Chief if Mccain wins the election. Palin wasn't even interested in any national issues or any issues outside of Alaska. Now she's going to champion Washington. If her own state is protesting against her I think the media should stop being played for fools by the Mccain campaign and total vet Palin because Mccain surely didn't. Mccains Tucker Bounds publicly vouched for her trip to Iraq and Kuwait, Ireland, and her heading the National guard. All Lies. Tucker Bounds lied about Palins positions and her travel. Its remarkable that such lies and deciet has tooken place in the Mccain camp. This is totally out of control. I'm so glad Obama aired that ad on the Mccaim camp lies and using a woman to decieve voters into voting for the Mccain/Palin ticket. Its a shame.

This is a serious issue and all the talk about calling the Governor of Alaska names - calling her a pig and apparently today a poster who is probably an Obama staff blogger called her a Moose - is distracting - however the poster at 5:08 Scott under The Fix's entry "FixCam Week in Preview" is correct - there is a distinct possibility that Obama boke Federal law if Obama sought to negotiate a deal with the Iraqi government involving US Troops and their movements within Iraq during this summer.

Obama has got to be kidding to try something like this.

The Logan Act is a Federal law which seeks to clarify that the President and the administration is the sole representative of the United States in foreign and military affairs. Legislators can not go off and start negotiating and making deals with foreign nations - if they attempt to do that they violate Federal law.

Any Campaign should be careful to stay out of foreign policy in the year before the election -

Our national security depends on respect for this clarity - this story is OUTRAGEOUS - THE STORY IS OBAMA WANTS THE WAR TO CONTINUE FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL POLITICAL BENEFIT.

Is Obama for the war or against the war?

The truth is: Obama is against the war when he wants the anti-war votes AND he is for the war when he CALCULATES THAT CONTINUING THE WAR WILL GET HIM MORE VOTES IN NOVEMBER.

OBAMA IS AN EXTREMELY SICK MAN TO PLAY WITH THE LIVES OF OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN THIS WAY.

In fact, it is more than the potential violations of the Logan Federal Act - it could be TREASON to start negotiating a separate military policy when one is not the President especially when the American servicemen are risking their lives in the war zone. Clearly Obama is unfit for office and unfit to even be an elected official.

It is obvious that OBAMA is not only a sexist but he is also racist. He abides by Hillary Clinton..because he needs her and Bill to help him win HIS KINGDOM. He had no use for her during his limited time in the Senate, he had little use for her on the Trail to his nomination.. because he is resentful of powerful white women. And that is some deep seated issue with his mom leaving him in Hi. and taking his half sister back with her. He resents Palin BECAUSE she is attractive and has a personality that he superior to his. She is in everyone's minds.. and his directive is to DESTROY HER..

His campaign has sent and HIRED reporters, lawyers, and others to find smut on her in Alaska... make it seem that she is a loose cannon etc. CNN and ABC have already done their jobs... but the lady keeps on going... and remains positive.

Obama has deceived us about his history, his thought, his ideals, and beliefs.

He deceived us about Reverend Wright and all those TYPICAL CHICAGO POLITICIANS that he used, promoted and aids even today.

He is self-center, and cocky.

He has not provided any of the following information after multiple requests, and the MSM has not vetted him as they should. I doubt that the FBI has completed a security clearance check other than having OBAMA sign some documents.

It is interesting to note that in Hi. he was 'only' a B student. Yet he alleges that he received scholarships, loans and grants to attend ELITE PRIVATE SCHOOLS.

Obams's Occidental College records
Obama's Columbia College records
Obama's Columbia Thesis paper
Obama's Harvard College records
Obama's Selective Service Registration
Obama's Medical records
Obama's Illinois State Senate records
A certified copy of Obama’s Original Birth Certificate
Obama's embossed, signed paper Certification of Live Birth
Any Obama Harvard Law Review articles that were published (I have found one.)
Obama's University of Chicago scholarly articles or publications.
I would like to see his national test scores, his grants, his scholarships, his
income tax reports for those years he alleges that he worked.

Mr. Obama is being considered for the highest job in America, and he should provide the above as if he would be interviewing for that position in Corporate America.

His has written his OWN BIOGRAPHY and provide his own story of his life.

Does anyone besides myself think it strange.. both his birth father and mother are deceased. (He did not ever visit his mother on her death bed.. TOO BUSY.)

He talks of his grand parents... but has not visited them but once in 18 months. They have not even been shown in public supporting their bi-racial son.

I not only think he is a sexist.. but he is also a racist of the worst kind.

Taught by Reverend Wright.

THE SARAH PALIN PICK... THE MORTGAGE-CREDIT MELTDOWN... GOVT TAKEOVER OF WALL ST... STATE-FUNDED VIGILANTE SQUADS TARGETING AMERICAN CITIZENS FOR HARASSMENT AND PHYSICAL ABUSE...

IS OUR CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY BEING SUBVERTED BY WAY OF A SILENT COUP?

See article below:

_______________________________________

EXPOSE STATE-SUPPORTED VIGILANTE SQUADS DOING 'DOMESTIC TERRORISM'

• Congress must probe unlawful targeting of American citizens by vigilantes hiding behind government-funded volunteer programs

• Due process denied, Constitution discarded by "extra-legal control mechanism" said to resemble the KKK, the Stasi and the Nazi Gestapo

• A cause of the crisis in the mortgage and credit markets?

• When will Chertoff, McConnell, Mukasey, Mueller, Gates and Paulson take action?

A virulent form of "domestic terrorism" is destroying the rule of law in America.

Victims of so-called organized "gang stalking" or "community stalking" charge that the rule of law has broken down nationwide at the hands of state-supported vigilantes -- operating under the cover of citizen "volunteer" programs and various "service" corps.

Organized groups of private citizens, funded by elements of government at multiple levels, are the backbone of an "extra legal" control mechanism that its victims say is denying citizens their constitutional right of due process under the law. Victims of this extra-legal network maintain that these vigilantes are functioning outside the legal system as judge, jury and executioner -- meting out various forms of harassment and abuse.

Victims call it "domestic terrorism" and they allege that their human rights are being violated.

Those who have been targeted by these groups say this vigilante militia is patrolling the streets, stalking and harassing, inflicting physical harm upon people who have been targeted by this extra-legal control mechanism. Some victims have moved to other cities and towns to escape the persecution -- but they say the vigilantism recurs in their new locale.

"It appears to be a nationwide network that attracts right-wing extremists as well as law and order types and people connected to public safety such as firefighters, police auxiliaries, retired police and military officers, and even their family members," says one victim, who says he has been "gang-stalked" for several years. "I doubt it could exist without some people in positions of power looking the other way."

Even some regular, uniformed police are reported to have been intimidated by this network of extra-legal control, using volunteer citizens as the "street muscle."

Victims say that in addition to being physically harassed, their property is being vandalized; their privacy is being invaded; their mail is intercepted, financial accounts and billing statements altered, family finances decimated; and their physical well-being has been compromised using hi-tech instruments such as "directed energy weapons" that emit silent bursts of radiation -- lasers, microwaves, x-rays, even sonic frequencies -- that can disable, main, induce illness or even kill.

"This is torture that's happening right here, in American cities and towns," says one alleged victim. "But it's like pre- World War II Germany; people refuse to believe that such abuses could happen in a civilized society. But it is happening. And I'm convinced that local and federal authorities not only have knowledge of this extra-legal targeting, but are providing funding and direction.

"I know the FBI knows about it, because I've been down there several times over the past two years to report it." He says he knows of no formal investigation, despite his offers to cooperate.

"I'm not saying they know of the worst abuses, such as using microwaves on targeted persons to degrade their health and make it impossible for them to earn a living. But they must know that these citizen patrols are doing a lot more than just cruising around the neighborhood. "

Citizens who have reported abuses say their complaints are typically ignored -- or that authorities insinuate that their claims are figments of their imagination, or are a manifestation of a mental illness such as paranoia.

"That appears to be part of the M-O," says one victim. "You haven't done anything wrong, so they can't charge you with a crime. So they attempt to make it look like you're crazy. That's how they marginalize people who don't fit in with their world view."

This victim believes the vigilante network is a convenient way for those in power to dispense with persons they simply don't like, or whose political or social views do not hew to what they regard as the established order.

Victims also believe that a network of government programs and agencies works in tandem with the extra-legal vigilante system to destroy their financial security. They allege that the crisis in the mortgage and credit markets may have been worsened by these programs, which they say are sapping the financial well-being of individuals and families without benefit of the right of due process.

Some victims wonder whether these extra-legal programs didn't create those financial crises in the first place. "We haven't had these kind of widespread financial woes for sixty years," a gang-stalking victim said. "You have to wonder if these programs weren't a blueprint for an ideologically-motivated purge."

Some of the agencies looking into the mortgage and credit market problems may have had long-standing knowledge of these programs, according to victims, who are calling on Congress to investigate.

"The issue of state-supported vigilantism and extra-legal control represents an assault on our judicial system that makes Watergate look like the third-rate burglary that it started out to be," says one gang-stalking victim. "Since government agencies appear to be involved in funding these programs, it's up to Congress to investigate, to use its powers of oversight to ensure that democracy and the rule of law prevails -- and not the law of the jungle."

President Clinton often talked about "the politics of personal destruction." Hillary Clinton warned against the "vast right-wing conspiracy," a concern she reaffirmed, albeit in milder descriptive language, in her autobiography, "Living History."

The network of programs and policies that are allegedly circumventing the judicial system, violating constitutional rights and meting out vigilante justice, might collectively be termed the MECHANICS of personal destruction.

Were Bill and Hillary Clinton trying to warn the rest of us about an evil that even the power of the presidency could not keep in check?

The entire electoral process is being marginalized, relegated to little more than window dressing, as true power is stolen away by a neo-fascist element that has found a way to seize the reins of power and authority. It is analogous to what John Dean called "a cancer" -- not just on the presidency, but on the entire body politic.

Amazing as it sounds, this powerful apparatus appears to exist under the radar of most elected members of Congress. Those who should know, perhaps they believe such programs exist to target "terrorists," so-called enemies of the state. They naively refuse to believe that these programs, over time, appear to have morphed into a vast system of extra-legal vigilante control not unlike the East German Stasi, the KKK of the old South, the Gestapo of the Nazi Third Reich -- and that these programs effectively deny innocent American citizens their constitutional rights.

This appears to be nothing less than neo-fascism under the guise of "national security" and "keeping America safe." And liberals and progressives, who arguably are represented among the targets of these programs, naively insist that "it can't happen here." Only the Libertarians seem to perceive the threat.

Whoever is elected the next president will inherit these programs. That person, if he learns of such programs, is likely to be told of their necessity and propriety -- that such an extra-legal control mechanism, employing citizen vigilantes and extra-legal programs targeting financial resources, can co-exist with democracy.

In fact, this extra-legal control mechanism is destroying our democracy; much damage already has been done. Individuals and families are being slowly destroyed. Some call it a "silent holocaust" due to its clandestine nature and the use of silent, invisible "directed energy" technology.

Below are links to the articles about this imminent danger to our constitutional democracy. I urge lawmakers and congressional committee staffers to do some research, and start asking some tough questions, starting with the Department of Homeland Security:

"Mr. Chertoff, are you aware that many Americans believe they have been the victims of so-called community or gang stalking, possibly perpetrated by persons equipped and trained by federally funded volunteer programs under your charge? Have you heard of such reports, and are you investigating to ensure that these programs and their resources are not being misused?"

That would be a good place to start. It apparently goes much broader and deeper; but the curative process must begin before more Americans are seriously damaged by this descent from the rule of law to the nihilist rule of the jungle.

A FINAL NOTE: The writer's communications are subject to persistent disruption and tampering by unknown hackers. Please consider forwarding the links below to people you know at the ALCU.org, CCRjustice.org, or any other group that could help protect our civil liberties from this dangerous encroachment.

Pfft. Yet another lie. Yet another easy debunking. Yet another time to ask the question: why on earth would they even bother lying on this stuff?

At a fundraiser in Canton, Ohio, this evening, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin had an interesting description of her speech to the Republican convention.

"There Ohio was right out in front, right in front of me," Palin said. "The teleprompter got messed up, I couldn't follow it, and I just decided I'd just talk to the people in front of me. It was Ohio."

Nope. Didn't happen.

This struck many of us -- who, as she spoke, followed along with her prepared remarks, and noted how closely she stuck to the script -- as an unusual claim. (Especially those of my colleagues on the convention floor at the time, reading along on the prompter with her, noticing her excellent and disciplined delivery, how she punched words that were underlined and paused where it said "pause," noting that "nuclear" was spelled out for her phonetically.) [...]

"The teleprompter did not break," wrote Politico's Jonathan Martin. "Sarah Palin delivered a powerful speech last night, but she did not 'wing it'..."

I mean, c'mon. We've already gone past Mencken's prophecied point, happily electing an outright moron, but is it truly necessary to make Orwell obsolete as well? This one is just stupid -- lying for the sake of lying. Lying, frankly, like a child.

McCain and Palin don't just lie about big things, like tax policy, Iraq and the economy. They even lie about petty trivialities -- any tiny little thing is fair game, if it lets them preen for a moment in front of their audiences.

Obama has far more experience when it comes to the economy than McCain/Palin. People keep saying Palin has more executive experience than Obama but that is not true at all. Obama graduated at the top of his class in law at Harvard, he taught at a law school, he then became the president of that law school. Therefore, he's got far more experience in executive, judicial, and legislation status than McCain/Palin combine. Palin and her husband Todd couldn't even run their car wash business because they wouldn't comply with legulations so how the heck is she so experience as an executive. If you ask me, heck I rather vote for Obama who graduated at the top of his class at Harvard over McCain who barely pass and graduated at the bottom of his class in the airforce. Also, with all these talk about McCain/Palin being better for this country, how are they better leaders for this country when they lie over and over again about Palin's true history background as mayor and governor. I think the McCain campaign would do just about anything to portray Palin's image as someone different than who she really is which is a liar. The facts shows it and the truth is finally surfering around the country from journals to broadcast news. I guess peope would rather have fonies and liars leading this country.

The U. S. Congress should approve any "status of forces" agreement (read TREATY) with Iraq negotiated by President Bush.

Bush should not be allowed to negotiate a permanent military presence or any agreement with no time table for withdrawal.

The Iraqi Prime Minister must submit any status of forces agreement to the Iraqi Parliament for approval.

The U. S. should do no less.

THE Admiral SON.

In Oct. 26, 1967, the admiral's son while flying his 23rd mission over North Vietnam, once again fell from the sky, this time landing in the hands of a brutal enemy. He was beaten and bayoneted. His shoulder was smashed and his right calf was nearly perpendicular to his knee.
The severely wounded McCain was finally thrown on the back of a truck and hauled to the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison camp. Immediately, his captors began to interrogate him using sadistic methods they had perfected on hundreds of captured U.S. servicemen before him.

His interrogators demanded military information. When he refused, his guards kicked and pounded him mercilessly.
McCain admits that three to four days after he was captured, he promised the Vietnamese, "I'll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital."
McCain also admits that the Vietnamese rushed him to a hospital, but denies he was given "special medical treatment" because of his promise.
He claims he was given medical care normally unavailable to captured Americans only because the Vietnamese learned he was the son of Admiral John S. McCain, Jr., the soon-to-be commander of all U.S. forces in the Pacific including those fighting in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese figured that because POW McCain's father was of such high military rank that he was of royalty or the governing circle in the United States. Thereafter the communist bragged that they had captured "the crown prince"and treated him as a "special prisoner."

Less than two weeks after McCain was taken to a hospital, Hanoi's press began quoting him giving specific military information, including the name of the aircraft carrier on which he was based, numbers of U.S. pilots that had been lost, the number of aircraft in his flight, information about location of rescue ships and the order of which his attack was supposed to take place.
There is also evidence that McCain received "special" medical treatment from a Soviet physician.

After he was out of the hospital, McCain continued cooperating with the North Vietnamese for a period of three years. He made radio broadcasts for the communists and met with foreign delegations, including the Cubans. He was interviewed by at least two North Vietnamese generals one of whom was Vietnam's national hero, General Vo Nguyen Giap.

On June 4, 1969, a U.S. wire service story headlined "PW Songbird Is Pilot Son of Admiral," reported one of McCain's radio broadcasts: "Hanoi has aired a broadcast in which the pilot son of the United States commander in the Pacific, Adm. John McCain, purportedly admits to having bombed civilian targets in North Vietnam and praises medical treatment he has received since being taken prisoner.
McCain says he violated the Code of Conduct only when the North Vietnamese brutally tortured him. He further claims that he was so distraught afterwards that he tried to commit suicide. He has never explained why his "aid to the enemy" continued for more than three years.

Even though there are no reports in the public record from other POWs who witnessed McCain's claims of torture and heroics or his attempted suicide, the American media has accepted his version of events word for word, no questions asked.

Yet, the same press that transformed the admiral's son into an "incredible war hero--an inspiration to all Americans," vilified the two grunts.
Comparing the incidents surrounding the fates of three POWs,' who collaborated with the enemy, makes one question why two faced possible execution for treason, while the third won acclaim as a hero fit to be President of the United States.
Once more, Lady Luck had smiled on John McCain . . . or was it the admiral?

Cain is the right man to lead this nation out of the economic mess which in great part is the Clinton administration's fault 100% - McCain wants to slam the lobbyists which is great for the economy.

In sharp contrast Obama has no business or economic experience except for buying cocaine.

Seriously why go with an inexperience and untested person who can not even handle the Sarah Palin pick without panic and making mistakes - McCain is the steady hand with the right instincts.

McCain is battle tested.

Compared to being in a Vietnamese prison camp, this economic situation is a walk in the park - in fact it's a walk in the park on a sunny day. McCain knows who the brightest and best advisors are to go to in order to formulate economic strategies which will get the economy humming again.

Second Time As Farce: How Palin is Exactly Like Bush, Part 2

From Palin's interview with Charlie Gibson:

Palin: "Our national leaders are sending them on a task that is from God"

Gibson: Are we fighting a holy war?

Palin: (looking strained, desperate, trapped): The reference there is from Abraham Lincoln who said "Never presume to know God's will..."

Robert Zimmerman: She failed to describe how a McCain/Palin foreign policy would differ from a Bush foreign policy

Gibson: Have you ever met a foreign head of state?

Palin: I have not, and I think that if you go back in history, and ask that question of many Vice Presidents they have the same answer that I just gave you

Anderson Cooper: Bay, ABC News just did a fact check. They looked back the last 30 years, all Vice Presidents have met a foreign leader. Does that matter?

Bay Buchanan: No, it doesn't at all. Her answer was excellent. It will make Americans feel that much closer to her. She's very real. Sure, she hasn't traveled overseas to meet these foreign leaders. But that's not what American's are looking for. She's absolutely correct. They want somebody that they can relate to. Who's hearing them. They're sick and tired of those people in Washington who may know lots of facts and figures and meet lots of people...

Zimmerman: It's always a danger when we have leaders who know facts and figures, Bay. That really does get in the way of setting up sound policies...My concern, Bay, is that when Sarah Palin says that she's not met foreign leaders like that's a good thing--We made that mistake eight years ago when George W. Bush was that likeable guy that you wanted to invite over for a barbeque.

REMEMBER SPIRO AGNEW?

Am I the only one who sees what is going on here with Palin? We all know she has no qualifications and she was just picked as window and as a stooge to say what ever they put in her mouth. No candidate in their right mind would really want her on their ticket. This is what I think will happen and may already be secretly in the plan.

If Mccain manages to get elected, they will get rid of Palin as soon as they can, using all of the scandal surrounding her as the reason. There is already information of drug use by her son and both daughters and Enquirer has eluded to something coming out about Palin and her husband are regular drug users. Once rid of her, Mcain then will put in Lieberman like he wanted to all along and that is how it will play out. What do you think, make sense?

In a twisted sort of way I almost hope that McCain does win this election because four more years of Bush/McCain failed policies would for all intents and purposes end the Republican Party as we know it today. They would become the 4th party gadflies that they deserve to be.

Did Obama Violate The Logan Act? [Jonah Goldberg]

Amir Taheri:

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.

Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.

While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined.
____

In 1975, Senators John Sparkman and George McGovern were accused of violating the Logan Act when they traveled to Cuba and met with officials there. In considering that case, the U.S. Department of State concluded:

The clear intent of this provision [Logan Act] is to prohibit unauthorized persons from intervening in disputes between the United States and foreign governments. Nothing in section 953 [Logan Act], however, would appear to restrict members of the Congress from engaging in discussions with foreign officials in pursuance of their legislative duties under the Constitution. In the case of Senators McGovern and Sparkman the executive branch, although it did not in any way encourage the Senators to go to Cuba , was fully informed of the nature and purpose of their visit, and had validated their passports for travel to that country. Senator McGovern’s report of his discussions with Cuban officials states: "I made it clear that I had no authority to negotiate on behalf of the United States — that I had come to listen and learn...." (Cuban Realities: May 1975, 94th Cong., 1st Sess., August 1975).

OBAMA CAME TO NEGOTIATE A POLITICALLY EXPEDIENT DELAY IN THE WITHDRAWL OF OUR TROOPS- WAS HE AFRAID THE "100 YEARS WAR" CLAIM WOULD BE CONSIDERED THE JOKE IT ALWAYS WAS?

WHAT A HYPOCRITE !!!

WELL AT LEAST HE'LL HAVE ONE MORE THING IN COMMON WITH MCGOVERN AFTER NOVEMBER!
